Lever House
Lever House is a landmark modernist skyscraper located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Completed in 1952, it was designed by the prominent architect Gordon Bunshaft of the firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The building's distinctive blue-green glass and steel façade, combined with its innovative design and use of space, quickly became an icon of mid-century modernism. Today, Lever House remains a testament to the power of architecture to shape the urban landscape and inspire awe and wonder in those who behold it.

Manhattan West Development
Manhattan West is a massive mixed-use development project spanning five acres in the heart of Manhattan's Hudson Yards district. The project includes two 60-story office towers, high end residential units, luxury hotel, retail space, and a 1.5-acre public park.

250 West 55th Street
250 West 55th Street is a modern, 40-story commercial tower located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Boston Properties' development features a sleek, glass facade and boasts over 800,000 square feet of office and retail space.
Berkay Baykal, while working at Turner Construction provided project management services throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring seamless integration of systems and materials. Berkay's role included design review, leading construction administration, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) coordination.
MEP coordination effort at 250 West 55th Street project was a crucial aspect of the overall project success. With Berkay's leadership, the project team was able to effectively coordinate the MEP systems with the architectural and structural elements of the building. This coordination ensured that the MEP systems were installed properly and on schedule, while also avoiding potential conflicts and minimizing construction issues. The result was a high-quality building with efficient MEP systems that met the client's needs and expectations.
Residential
The Eugene
The Eugene, with 844 units, is a luxury residential tower rising 62 stories above the Hudson Yards neighborhood. The building offers residents stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a rooftop pool, and a pet spa. Berkay Baykal was involved in the design and construction of The Eugene, working closely with the architects and contractors to ensure that the building was constructed to the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Hudson Exchange
Set to rise just about 634 feet and with 802 residential units at the corner of Sixth Street and Marin Boulevard, Hudson Exchange Phase 2 is a mixed-use development that includes retail space, residential units, and a parking garage.
Berkay Baykal, through Brookfield Properties Development provided construction consulting services for the project, including project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
Project is under construction as of 2023 and is planned to open in 2026.
Cultural
Lincoln Center
In 2009, Berkay Baykal, working for Turner Construction, had the privilege of being part of the renovation of Lincoln Center, a world-renowned performing arts center in New York City. He contributed to the revitalization of the iconic plaza and reflective pool, while also upgrading the MEP infrastructure of the entire campus. With his commitment to quality and innovation, Turner helped to create a dynamic space for the arts and cultural events that will endure for generations to come.
Perelman Performing Art Center
The Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the-art performance venue and cultural center with multiple performance spaces currently under construction at the World Trade Center. It is planned to open to public in 2023.
Berkay Baykal, through Brookfield Properties, had the privilege of being involved in the early stages of the project, working closely with the development team, architects and engineers. As the project progressed, he continued his support and guidance at an advisory level, collaborating with the construction team to ensure the project was delivered on-time and within budget. The Perelman Center will be a world-class venue for the performing arts, and we are proud to have played a role in bringing it to life.

Zou Zou's and Chez Zou
Zou Zou's and Chez Zou, located underneath the Pendry hotel, was a unique and exciting project that we were proud to be a part of. Berkay Baykal worked closely with the restaurant owner to bring their vision to life, from the initial design concept to the final details of construction. The result was a stunning space that perfectly captured the essence of the restaurant's cuisine and atmosphere. Services included project management, construction supervision, and quality control to ensure that the project was completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
